VPN Monitoring Tools

A virtual private network (VPN) extends a private network across a public network or internet. It enables users to send and receive data across shared or public networks as if their computing devices were directly connected to the private network. Opsview's VPN monitoring tools allow you to easily monitor your VPN functionalities and ensures optimum levels of connectivity.

What You Can Monitor

Opsview contains critical service checks to make sure your VPN is responding and also checks that the network interface is responding to ICMP echo requests. These types of checks allow for you to easily monitor your VPN connections and tie them into a larger dashboard view of your network infrastructure.

VPN Monitoring Setup and Configuration

To configure and utilize this Opspack, you simply need to add the 'Network - VPN' Opspack to your Opsview system.

Step 1: Add the Host Template
