Service Checks

Service Check Description
ServiceCloud Checks objects in ServiceCloud using the given SOQL query in the attribute %SALESFORCE_SC_QUERY%. It will create a new service check for every %SALESFORCE_SC_QUERY%.

Service Checks

Service Check Description
ServiceCloud Checks objects in ServiceCloud using the given SOQL query in the attribute SALESFORCE_SC_QUERY. It will create a new service check for every SALESFORCE_SC_QUERY.

Setup and Configuration

To configure and utilize this Opspack, you simply need to add the 'Cloud - Service Cloud' Opspack your Opsview Monitor system.

Step 1: Add the host template

Step 2: Configure the required variables for the host

SALESFORCE_AUTH - Add this variable to the host. Within the override of this variable, you will need to provide a valid SalesForceToken, Client key and Client secret. If you do not have these on hand, please contact your SalesForce administrator.

SALESFORCE_LOGIN - Add this variable to the host. Within the override of this variable, you will need to provide a valid SalesForce username and password.

SALESFORCE_SC_QUERY - This variable is the actual command that is being checked

Step 3: Reload and the system will now be monitored

Setup and Configuration

Step 1: Add the host template

Add the Cloud - Service Cloud Host Template to your Opsview Monitor host.

Step 2: Configure the required variables for the host

Variable Description
SALESFORCE_AUTH Within the override of this variable, you will need to provide a valid SalesForceToken, Client key and Client secret. If you do not have these on hand, please contact your SalesForce administrator.
SALESFORCE_LOGIN Provide credentials for a Salesforce.com accound, overriding both the Username and Password
SALESFORCE_SC_QUERY Override the SOQL query with your SOQL (Salesforce Query Language) query. Add an instance of this variable for each query you wish to run.

Step 3: Apply changes and the system will now be monitored
