All 8 Apache Service Checks returned - APACHE STATUS UNKNOWN - 404 Not Found

Just wondering if am missing any thing here, This server is hosting a drupal website.

We are using Opsview Enterprise (MSP Subscription) Version: 4.3.0

All of these Apache checks gave the same error: APACHE STATUS UNKNOWN - 404 Not Found
Plugin is check_apache_performance
Apache accesses  ---example -H $HOSTADDRESS$ -m accesses -t 60
Apache active sessions
Apache bytes per request
Apache current requests
Apache idle workers
Apache requests per second
Apache shared memory
Apache traffic
Drupal health check

Your thoughts will be appreciated

Has anyone found a solution

Has anyone found a solution for this? I'm running into the same problem.

Found a solution

As active as these forums are, no one has posted a solution here yet! (sarcasm intended)

But after some Googling I found the answer on this page: http://docs.opsview.com/doku.php?id=opsview4.4:opspacks:templates:apache...

This documentation was able to help me get this working correctly.

Make sure the status module

Make sure the status module is enabled & the correct IP is allowed to access it.

I usually add a localhost entry to my configs to hit apache checks on that specific vhost as other vhosts usually exist.

Facing same issue

Hi Friends,

I am facing the same or similar issue and followed all articles.

I have made sure that mod_ssl is also enable on remote server but still getting similar issue.

/usr/local/nagios/libexec/check_apache_performance -H 1.1.1.1 -p 8889 -m active_sessions -w 10 -c 20 -t 60
APACHE STATUS UNKNOWN - HTTP request 200 OK, but unable to collect performance data of metric active_sessions. Need to enable mod_ssl to collect this statistic

Can someone help me please?

BR
