SNMP Trap Processing Errors

I've tried to set up SNMP Trap alerting but cannot get any rules to match a trap in OpsView. I get "Error" as the result in the debug page, even for the default "Alert on any trap" rule, which just contains "1". This seems to suggest an error in the perl script snmptrap2nagios.

I can see the following in the snmptrap2nagios.log

2014/06/27 13:22:44 Error evaluating rule for 'SNMP Trap - Alert on any trap' on host 'RC-TH_FW1': '1'; result: 'ref-to-glob cast' trapped by operation mask at (eval 15) line 1. 2014/06/27 13:22:44 Error evaluating rule for 'SNMP Trap - Link State' on host 'RC-TH_FW1': "SNMPv2-MIB::authenticationFailure" eq "IF-MIB::linkDown"; result: 'ref-to-glob cast' trapped by operation mask at (eval 17) line 1. 2014/06/27 13:22:44 Error evaluating rule for 'SNMP Trap - Link State' on host 'RC-TH_FW1': "SNMPv2-MIB::authenticationFailure" eq "IF-MIB::linkUp"; result: 'ref-to-glob cast' trapped by operation mask at (eval 19) line 1. 2014/06/27 13:22:44 Error evaluating rule for 'SNMP Trap - Link State' on host 'RC-TH_FW1': "1"; result: 'ref-to-glob cast' trapped by operation mask at (eval 21) line 1.   Does anyone know what might cause this? I've inherited this setup from a former colleague, who I think may have edited the snmptrap2nagios file (based on the modified date). Is there any way to recover the original file without reinstalling OpsView?   I've uploaded a screenshot of the SNMP trap debug page if it helps http://s8.postimg.org/m9xa3nlx1/Ops_View_Trap.png
