Agent install and config on Solaris

Hi

Are there any instructions available for installing and then configuring the agent (Opsview Agent for Solaris 10 SPARC 64*) on Solaris, as I can't see anything in the latest docs?  Do I need to edit a config file to allow access from our monitoring server in the same way as you do on Windows with NCClient++?

Regards

Adam

On solaris, just download the

On solaris, just download the package from our web site and install using

gunzip opsview-agent-xxxx.pkg.gz
pkgadd -d ./opsview-agent-xxx.pkg

This should start up the opsview-agent daemon and it should accept requests as soon as it is running

If you have done this, are you seeing any errors on running the agent?  What version of Solaris are you running this on?
