What Version of Opsview am I running?

G'Day All,

I have followed this all the way through (http://docs.opsview.com/doku.php?id=opsview-core:centos-installation) and was expecting that after Step 8. when I hit the IP address with my browser I would get the logon page. Nothing has happened. Now, quite frustrated, I am wondering if there are any version specific issues why this is not working with CentOS 6.

Can someone please send me some pointers?

Thanks and best wishes.

Re: What Version of Opsview am I running?

Hi,

After step 8 there are more steps (http://docs.opsview.com/doku.php?id=opsview-core:centos-installation#usi...) - if you dont follow this steps, going to the ip address alone will do nothing - you need to go to ipaddress:3000 as you havent configured apache.

Hope this helps!

Sam

Thanks for the reply.

That did not help.

I worked it all the way through to the end and restarted apache with /etc/init.d/httpd restart, but still nothing when I try the IPADDR with or without the :3000.

Can you recommend any troubleshooting steps?

Thanks

Re: What Version of Opsview am I running?

Hmm... all i'd suggest is checking opsview logs, making sure the firewall is configured correctly, that the opsview service and opsview-web service are actually running, and also httpd is running (if your using Apache now).

Best of luck!
