No show after added new host in host setting

Hi, I have just download the Opsview Atom 5.0.0.27029 virtual appliance and start to add a new host under "Host setting" page but no show on "Host Group, Hosts and Services" page. I have reloaded many times and reboot the atom too. It still cannot show the host that I added. I can add a new group under "Host & Host Group Organizer" page. I move the new host to a new group but still no show. Any advise? Thanks a lot.

Does your host have any

Does your host have any service checks / host templates applied? if not it wont show up. I.e. if you are monitoring a Windows server, you should add the Windows template (one of) and it'll appear with those service checks.

Configured hosts not appearing in the monitoring section

Hi,

I am facing a similar issue. I have configured the host and added service check, But the hosts are not appearing in Monitoring section of opsview5.3. Any suggestions?

Has a reload worked without

Has a reload worked without error?  Are there any non-okay services within the 'monitoring servers' hostgroup?  Are the last check times up to date fo these checks?

Can you also confirm running 'opsview_watchdog summary' when run as the nagios user shows all services are monitored and available?

We had a similar issue after

We had a similar issue after upgrading from 5.1 - 5.4.

/opt/opsview/watchdog/bin/opsview-monit summary did NOT list these:

opsview-timeseriesrrdupdates

opsview-timeseriesrrdqueries

opsview-timeseriesenqueuer

opsview-timeseries

Turns out we were missing the timeseries packages (required starting in 5.2 from what I read): opsview-timeseries, opsview-timeseries-enqueuer, and opsview-timeseries-rrd.  After yum installing those packages and restarting processes host updates are showing up as expected.
