Install the agent
Do I need install agent on each host?  or I only need autodiscover?

Re: Install the agent

he there,

You can use SNMP for discovery or discover common services (like DNS, webservers and so on).

Have a look at the "Detection Mapping" section when you configure autodiscovery here you can configure:

1. services based discovery.

2. host agent based (if you wish to use this then you need to deploy the agent on the host you want to monitor).

3. WMI based detection for Windows servers.

4. VMWare detections (this uses vSphere to collect information).

Hope this helps,

Alan
