Custom Notification validation

I've written a notification script in perl which calls a webservice for our HPSM service desk.

For some reason, Opsview refuses to validate that script.

The script calls on no environment variables at all, except those of the NAGIOS_* types which provide the necessary incident data.

Is there a log of the validation test, or some other method I can use to determine just what Opsview doesn't like about this script?

Regards,

Chris

I found the problem.  On the

I found the problem.  On the Notification create screen, you must specify the short name for the script, rather than the fully-pathed name.  Opsview already expects the script to be in the libexec/notifications directory.

I'd still like to have a view into what the validation expects--after all, it wasn't clear from the failure message what the problem was.
