Alerts Showing wrong downtime

Hello,

We have been observing that service alerts are suddenly appearing and showing service status "Critical" since 60 minutes.

I am using OPSView Community, Version: 20120424 on CentOS 5.8 64_Bit.

Please let me know how to fix this.

Regards,

Ajay

Re: Alerts Showing wrong downtime

Hi Ajay,

That release is almost 2 years out of date (i.e. it hasnt been touched now for almost 2 years), so it is likely there are a lo of bugs that have been fixed since.

Community is now end-of-life as per the notices that were sent out, and also the website communications on Opsview.com - i'd recommend upgrading to a more stable release in Opsview Core, using the documentation here: http://docs.opsview.com/doku.php?id=opsview-core:upgrading:upgradetocore

Best,

Sam

Re: Alerts Showing wrong downtime

Hi Sam,

Can I migrate my all my configurations (hosts, host-groups, service-groups etc) from OPSView Community, Version: 20120424 to OPSView latest Core version? If so then how can do the same?

Regards,

Hi Ajay,

Yes - if you follow the guide here and read the documentation you will be able to keep your configuration (hosts, host groups, etc):

Best,

Sam
