Re: Painful Opsview installation

Hello,

Lots of people install Opsview every day; are you sure you are reading *all* of the instructions?

Best,

Sam

Re: Painful Opsview installation

We have automated tests that run every day, so we're not aware of an issue.

I've just tried on our CentOS6.4 server and the DB install works fine. This is on mysql 5.1.69.

It could be some mysql setting. I think sql_mode maybe important here. What are the settings in /etc/my.cnf? And what do you get with "show variables where Variable_name ='sql_mode';"

mysql> show variables where Variable_name ='sql_mode'; +---------------+-------+ | Variable_name | Value | +---------------+-------+ | sql_mode | | +---------------+-------+ 1 row in set (0.00 sec)Ton
