PROBLEM: Unix Swap is CRITICAL on host opsview

Using the VMWare appliance the swap gets maxed out:

Service: Unix Swap
Host: opsview
Alias: Opsview Master Server
Address: localhost
Host Group Hierarchy: Opsview > Monitoring Servers
State: CRITICAL
Date & Time: Fri Aug 23 12:01:35 UTC 2013

Additional Information:

SWAP CRITICAL - 1% free (0 MB out of 3376 MB)

When does this occur? How many hosts are you monitoring?

It's about 75 hosts.
Now I also get something like "application critical" (connection refused by host)

Swap will still be high even when the system isnt "overloaded" in Unix - http://serverfault.com/questions/303045/what-and-why-is-my-swap-space-used-under-linux
