Following on Technology Preview and Early Adopters releases earlier this year, Opsview Monitor 6.0 (stable) was released on November 29, 2018. A dramatic departure from prior major releases, Opsview Monitor 6.0 (stable) is based on a completely new, microservices-based, Orchestrator/Collector core architecture, replacing Nagios and enabling radical performance, scale, and resilience improvements while preserving 100% compatibility with Nagios plugins. Also new in Opsview Monitor 6.0 (stable): a significantly redesigned user interface for improved insight, Ansible-based deployment and lifecycle management for rapid time-to-value, new Linux and Windows infrastructure discovery features, and much more. Having benefited from pre-release of TP and EA versions, intensively trialed by Opsview’s largest customers, Opsview Montior 6.0 (stable) is considered fully ready for production. It can be upgraded in place from TP and EA versions without modifications to hardware.
