Developer Week 2017

Developer Week puts the spotlight on new dev technologies. Running from February 11-16, it is the world’s largest developer expo and conference series, with over 8,000 participants. Exhibitors include big names such as IBM, Honeywell, Microsoft and Oracle.
The theme this year is ‘The Industrial Revolution of Code.’ This reflects the growing re-positioning of companies to become more software-centric. Companies are now becoming increasingly focused on coding and software innovation, no matter the industry.

Developer Week 1

The week brings a huge range of daily talks to attend with over 100 speakers, covering topics from managing microservice applications with Docker Engine Services, to the Web Developer’s guide to Virtual Reality.
A number of conferences will also be taking place, including CTO World Congress, the decisive convergence of delegates from across the world to discuss best practices, and advance the technology industry. Developer Week is also home to the JavaScript Conference, with introductory and advanced workshops, as well as exciting industry talks.

Developer Week 2

In addition to the conferences and festival, Developer Week also involves one of San Francisco’s largest hackathons. This is where teams compete to build a new startup app, compete to solve challenges, and form project teams online.
