Mobile+Web Dev Conference

DevCon is currently well underway in San Francisco. The premium developer conference focuses on iOS, Android and cross-platform app development technologies. It is a hugely popular event and a must attend for any developer looking to expand their skill set or explore new platforms through a unique mix of hands-on talks, technical training, best practices, and case studies.

The three-day conference boasts networking benefits, providing developers with the ability to connect and have engaging conversations, developer-to-developer, in an intimate conference atmosphere. DevCon also provides a platform for learning and understanding the latest opportunities and trends across native, web and IoT.

Notable speakers this year include Tara Walker from Amazon Web Services, discussing the rise of IoT and Smart Devices, and how to develop them at scale with the cloud. Also, Niall McSheffrey (President of Elementz) will be talking about what it takes to build a low cost on-demand app ecosystem.

Other topics to be discussed at the event this year are cross-platform development, Android and iOS instruments, and Digital Health services development. The case studies presented include Jason DeLancey and Michael Hart of GE Digital covering the building of always-on applications for Industrial IoT, and Nils Korber of Ringier One Africa Media talking about building successful apps for Africa.

The conference is dedicated to developers and software engineers. For more information on #MWDCON and to have a look at the full agenda check out their website
