Jenkins Opspack Overview

Jenkins is a leading open source automation server that helps automate parts of the software development process. By providing hundreds of plugins to support the building, deploying and automating of any project, Jenkins empowers teams to implement the technical part of a continuous delivery. 

What You Can Monitor 

Our Jenkins Opspack allows you to pull vital information from your environment including connection information, number of sessions/client requests, thread statistics and much more.


Overall Status: Get the status of all jobs that have been run

View Status: Get the status of all jobs in a specific view

Job Status: Get the status of a specific job and test results if a test was run against the job

Build Queue: The number of jobs currently in the queue


Setup and configuration:

To configure and utilize this Opspack, you simply need to add the 'Application - Jenkins' Opspack to the host running the Jenkins software and specify the Jenkins Username, Password, URL,  job, and views via the variables JENKINS_AUTHENTICATION, JENKINS_JOB, JENKINS_VIEW.

Step 1: Add the host template

Step 2: Add and configure the host variables. Add multiple jobs using the JENKINS_JOB variable and multiple views using the JENKINS_VIEW variable.

If you are using an extra path to the Jenkins homepage, add the URL to the variable JENKINS_AUTHENTICATION as well as your password and username.
