Windows Server Service "null" & PHP utf-8

Hello,

i have another Problem. I made a nagvis map and wanted to implement some machine states. It seems that some messages from services are too long. In the hovermenu of the machine it tells me: "Windows System Events: CRITICAL: null". It looks normal on the Host (it is critical, but has more text ;)).

And an error appers on the screen: "PHP error in ajax request handler: Error: (2) json_encode(): Inavlid UTF-8 sequence in argument (/usr/local/nagios/nagvis/nagvis/ajax_handler.php:171)". Is there a way to change the encoding or something?

I guess changing the encoding in the my.cnf helps alot. Just testing it, but it looks great.

[client] default-character-set=utf8 [mysql] default-character-set=utf8 [mysqld] collation-server = utf8_unicode_ci init-connect='SET NAMES utf8' character-set-server = utf8

There are no umlauts anymore (replaced by a questionmark) but better than these mistakes.
