Opsview Leadership


Mike Walton is the Founder and CEO of Opsview. He has grown Opsview organically to be a global software company providing best-of-breed cloud and infrastructure monitoring solutions to enterprise and public sector organizations. Mike is a hands-on leader, involved in all aspects of the company, with particular focus on sales, customer success and finance.
Prior to Opsview, Mike founded and led several other technology start-ups through to successful exits. He has been directly involved in strategy, fund-raising, acquisitions and exits at Ixxus, Rubus, Viant and SalesSeek, as CEO, Non-executive Director, Advisor and Investor. Prior to starting his first company, Mike had a successful sales management career in Fujitsu and Oracle. At Oracle, he was responsible for running the Financial Services team in New York, where he lived for 5 years.
Mike holds a bachelor’s degree in physics and engineering from Brunel University.


Helen Carroll is Vice President of Marketing at Opsview. Helen joined Opsview in 2018 and is responsible for all things marketing: demand generation, brand, media and analyst relations and customer marketing.
Prior to Opsview, she led global marketing teams in private equity backed organizations, such as Ivanti, Heat Software and CPA Global. With a focus on brand development, digital marketing and demand generation, she is responsible for driving rapid growth. Her technology marketing experience also spans tenure at Sun Microsystems, BMC Software and Pitney Bowes Software.


Neil Ferguson is Vice President of Sales Engineering and Systems at Opsview. Neil has worked with Opsview since its inception. First using the Opsview Monitor product in IT organizations, he realized the potential of the product and joined Opsview as one its first three employees. Neil is responsible for technical excellence in the sales cycle, driving customer technology adoption and manages Opsview’s own internal business systems.
Neil holds a masters degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Portsmouth.


Lynda Rawlings is Vice President of Finance. Lynda joined Opsview in 2008, at the start of the Opsview story. She has been instrumental in developing and evolving our subscription based recurring revenue business model, enabling organic revenue growth with minimal external investment. Lynda is also our Company Secretary and Treasurer and is responsible for all financial compliance.
Lynda, is a Fellow of the ICAEW (Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales). Following her early career in audit, accountancy and tax practice, she went on to work with CEO’s of high growth technology companies in both adviser and controller roles. In these roles she was involved in helping organizations to put the systems, processes and commercial structure in place to grow revenues and align business strategy and financial plans.


Rob May is Vice President of Engineering at Opsview. Rob joined Opsview in 2010 working in a variety of technical roles, and in his current role, he leads Opsview’s overall technology strategy, product architecture, product development, user experience design, security and quality assurance.
Prior to Opsview , Rob has held management roles at several technology companies with successful exits, including Rubus and Detica PLC.
Rob holds a bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southampton.


Scott Heyhoe is Vice President of Product Management at Opsview. In this role, Scott is leading Opsview’s evolution in the digital transformation of IT operations management. Scott is instrumental in driving cloud growth with the latest innovations in the Opsview product portfolio.
Prior to joining Opsview, Scott held senior global roles in SaaS companies, CEB and Questback. At GL Assessment, Scott was a member of the Board, and part of the senior management team, who led the company to double-digit growth and a successful exit of 14 times EBITDA.
Scott holds a bachelors degree in Computer Science from Imperial College London.
