Mailing Lists

There are three mailing lists for Opsview Core developers

  • opsview-announce - this is a low frequency mailing list for announcements
  • opsview-devel - this is for development discussions
  • opsview-checkins - this is for notification emails when a change has been made to the Opsview code

You can search the mailing list archives for opsview-announceopsview-devel and opsview-checkins

Note: There is a posting limit of 100KB on the opsview-users mailing list. Please consider uploading any large files to an external site and linking to them in your mail. Otherwise, Mailman will automatically hold your email and we will try to evaluate as soon as we can.

Appropriate content for opsview-devel mailing lists

The opsview-devel list can be used for the following topics:

  • General questions not already answered on website
  • Reporting of potential bugs with software, so we can investigate
  • Posting feedback, suggestions and documentation requests
  • Answering questions raised by other people
  • Offers of help to the project, including translations

Questions posted to the list will be answered by the Opsview team where appropriate.

Please do not contact our people directly via email with support queries. By allowing us to answer your questions on the list you are helping other subscribers by sharing information.

Occasionally we may politely decline to answer questions relating to your specific environment.
