Open Virtualization Alliance

Comprised of leading virtualization, datacenter, and cloud solution providers, the Open Virtualization Alliance's goal is to help increase overall awareness and understanding of Kernel-based Virtual Machine (KVM); foster the adoption of KVM as an open, virtualization alternative to proprietary solutions; accelerate the emergence of an ecosystem of third-party solutions around KVM; and encourage interoperability, promote best practices, and highlight examples of customer successes. Opsview became an OVA member company in 2011.

OpenStack

OpenStack is an IaaS cloud computing project by Rackspace Cloud and NASA. Currently more than 120 companies have joined the project including Opsview. It is free open source software released under the terms of the Apache License.

Eucalyptus Systems, Inc

Eucalyptus is open source software for implementing on-premise cloud computing using an organisation’s own secure IT infrastructure, without modification, special-purpose hardware or reconfiguration. Eucalyptus turns data centre resources such as machines, networks, and storage systems into a cloud that is controlled and customized by local IT. Ospview is partnering with Eucalyptus Systems to deliver application monitoring within Eucalyptus' private cloud environment.

Ubuntu

Opsview is an Ubuntu Software Partner. Canonical provides engineering, online and professional services to Ubuntu partners and customers worldwide. As the founder of the Ubuntu project, Canonical is committed to the production and support of Ubuntu Server. Partnering with Ubuntu means that Opsview will become available in Ubuntu Server's Universal software repository and the Ubuntu Enterprise Cloud.

NSClient++

NSClient++ aims to be a simple yet powerful and secure monitoring daemon for Windows operating systems. The structure of the daemon is a simple service that loads plug-ins to an internal stack. The plug-ins can then request data (poll performance data) from the other plug-ins through the internal stack. Opsview is an official sponsor of the NSClient project.
