Our Story

Michael Walton, Opsera's CEO, formerly founded the award winning Internet and e-solutions provider, Rubus, which specialised in internet and e-commerce solutions, content management, knowledge management, and customer relationship management.

After successfully selling Rubus to Detica Group PLC (subsequently acquired by British Aerospace), Michael founded Opsera in 2005 with the desire to build a world-class open source product and services business. As part of that vision, Opsera acquired the Opsview product in 2008 from Altinity Limited.

With over 6 years of heritage, Opsview is currently deployed in over 10,000 organisations spread across more than 30 countries.
